Privacy Policy

ACE Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the gamified micro-learning platform available at bitwise.nanocorp.app. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account data — your email address when you join the waitlist or create an account. We use this to communicate with you about your account and the service.
• Usage & analytics data — page views, clicks, session duration, feature interactions, and Core Web Vitals. This is collected automatically via PostHog (see Section 4) to help us understand how the platform is used and to improve it.
• Payment data — if you subscribe to ACE Academy Pro, payment is processed by Stripe on our behalf. We do not store your full card details; Stripe provides us with limited transaction metadata (plan, amount, date).
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URL, collected automatically by our hosting provider as part of normal server logs.

We use your personal data to:

• Provide and operate the ACE Academy service.
• Send you account-related communications (onboarding, billing receipts, service updates).
• Analyse usage patterns to improve content, features, and performance.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising profiling or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We use PostHog for product analytics. PostHog is loaded via a first-party script tag and collects behavioural data (pageviews, button clicks, JS errors, and Core Web Vitals). Data is associated with an anonymous session ID by default; if you are logged in, it may be associated with your user ID to provide personalised insights and support.

PostHog acts as a data processor on our behalf. You can opt out of analytics tracking by disabling JavaScript or using a browser extension that blocks tracking scripts.

We use cookies and similar local-storage mechanisms to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and support the analytics described above. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

You can control cookie settings through your browser. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the service (e.g., you may need to log in repeatedly).

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g., billing records, which we keep for 7 years for tax compliance).

Anonymised or aggregated analytics data (which cannot reasonably identify you) may be retained indefinitely to analyse long-term trends.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive a portable copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we take reasonable precautions.

Our site may contain links to third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
